Xede in europe
How many guys are buying it or have already ordered it? I did last week and they told me it would be shipping in the next week or so.
If you are planning on getting it, if we have enough people, who would be in to having Shiv come over to europe for a mass tuning session?

does shiv need to tune the cars, or is the unit 'user installable'?
I was under the impression that he was going himself during the initial launch to get more real world results to feed back into the system. |

Well its set up at Vishnu with the map you request, like 91 or 93 octane. The thing is thats its only going to work at around 85-90% efficiency, not meaning anything dangerous.
Guess its all about the preference of THE MAN tuning your car or being satisfied with just plugging the Xede in and flying.

I'm in, but not before the end of february, since my winter tires do not have grip enough for mapping on the rollers. However, it can well take the couple of months to see the man himself here in Europe.

Alright guys, this summer Shiv's going to be in europe IF theres enough people involved that would like the PROCEDE installed in their 335i's.
Who wants it and would like for him to tune it around June/July? I'm in. He'll go to Sweden first and then if theres enough people, come down to Germany and square us away. I guess I'll start a list: 1. ArmyBimmerDude 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10.

By summer, the demand in Germany alone keeps Shiv busy for a full week. You have the first European install, however, having ordered it in December and getting it basically in the mail already.

Lufthansa cargo will be happy to ship your 335 to Shiv in California, and back after he installs the Procede at SFO airport.
Of course this will add a bit to the cost of the upgrade, but the PROcede will give you some serious bragging rights on the autobahn! |

What MOS are you applying for? Pay attention to detail on your packet. Dot your Is cross your Ts type of thing. Get it in ASAP. We are hurting in some MOSs. There are only two boeards a year but this depends on MOS as well. Back on topic. Procede in now available for self installation. Are you doing it yourself. I plan to order tomorrow so if you have done yours by the time I get mine I would like some help. Would love to assist your install as well. Let me know. |

I'm in BNCOC right now over here in Georgia. I'm going to be going for one of the Signal MOS's (250-254). Was looking at the board results the other day and it's really ridiculous how many people are getting accepted. Wow.
Anyways, If you order yours tomorrow then you'll probably get it whenever I come back, but if I get it sooner, my (very good) friend in Germany is watching my car and I would have him install it. If you give me your phone number the both of you could do it together and you see how much power, etc it'll have. It's available for self-installation, but I would rather have the man that created it to come, plus if Shiv tunes it personally, you might be able to squeeze another 10whp.

The octane numbers are different, but there are conversions for that.

Plus gas in the states is of different quality, depending on which gas station you go to.

I'd definitely be interested in getting hoooked up with ProCede! I'll be in K-town from the beginning of Jun till early Jul if you think Shiv will make it over around then.
Put me on the LIST! :rocks:
