Noob Question: Front mount 335i, 335ix and 335d

I have a 335d and I want to get an AMS front mount.... But everywhere I look it says its for 335i or 335ix... will it fit on my 335d???

Sorry if its a noob question. I searched for it but didn't find anything.

335d has a diesel engine, 335i/xi does not. They are powered differently, so the intercoolers are specific to each engine. The one for the 335i/xi are made for that car so it will not fit a 335d.

called ams performance and they wasn't sure since they haven't tested. Now is there an after market front mount i can get for the 335d?

thats a good question, there def. has to be someone working on it. Tuning chips are starting to show up so I wouldn't be surprised to see one in the near future.
