I've owned my '07 X3 for 4 months now. Why is it that the passenger air bag indicator (on the inside roof of the car) sometimes says passenger air bag off when nobody is sitting in the seat. I haven't noticed if it is on when someone is in the seat as I'm almost always driving alone. Could my air bag be disabled? Just curious if anyone else has noticed this. I wouldn't think BMW would allow one to disable the air bag or that it would be disabled if nobody is sitting in the seat. Any info would be appreciated.
