Anyone on the Trinidad?

Just talked to my CA and found out that I am on the Trinidad -

Left Bremerhaven yesterday, scheduled to arrive in NY on December 23rd.

Actually looks as if I could be behind the wheel by New Years Day

Fingers crossed for good weather in the Atlantic ...

I am on Trinidad. How do we track the ship?

Tried sailinfo but couldnt find the ship.

Do your VIN #'s show up on the Walenius Wilhemsen site yet? The 1-800 number says I am 'En Route' but my VIN still isn't on the W&W website. I was hoping to be on the Trinidad. Maybe I will be on the Manon leaving tomorrow.

VIN didnt show up on the web site either. Dealer gave me a screenshot confirming that my car is in Trinidad. Cant seem to track where is Trinidad right now.

Any ideas how to track it?

From what I have read, not all ships report in. I think it is a matter of luck if it shows up on the sailwx website.

When did your car change to 'In Transit' on the 1-800 #?

I checked it last night and it says it is in transit.

I read somewhere that there is a paid website that shows the vessel?

I haven't heard of that website. I'd be curious to see that.

My VIN doesn't show up on the WW website either, but my CA told me that I am definitely on that ship.

Not quite sure how to track the ship. I believe that the sailx website works only when the ship is in the Atlantic, and if it reports in.

The good news is that the Trinidad has the shortest scheduled crossing time of any of the ships sailing over the next week.

This may be good news for me because mine changed to In Transit this morning also. Keeping my fingers crossed I am on the Trinidad. Just left a message for my salesman to find out.

I would almost bet that you are on the Trinidad - I checked the schedules on the WW website. The Trinidad left yesterday, but the next ship isn't leaving until tomorrow (originally scheduled for today, but delayed).

Exactly what happened with me.

I assume the VPC shuts down for a few days for xmas. I would think the 24th and 25th at least. If that boat gets in on the 23rd, I wonder what the chances of getting the car by the 1st are.

My CA thought that there was a chance that I could get my car by New Years if there were no delays from here on in. He was pretty sure that I would definitely have it by the following week.

The VPC is closed over the holiday weekend, but it is open the week between Christmas and New Years. I'm in NJ, so there really isn't much transit time - just depends upon how backed up the VPC is that week.
