can't stop thinking about that. i think it was like last year this guy left a m3 at the dealer for inspection or whatever. one of the guys was "supposed" to get gas and ended up basically totalling the car.

did you get delivery as well? how many miles on yours when you picked?

PS: do the dealerships usually give you full tank courtesy gas?

lol, this must be your first bmw...I had my car for over a year now (very close to 2 yrs). My car was a dealer debut demo car. I bought it with 60 miles (I dont remember since it been a while now). They should top off the gas. relax dude.

I never took delivery with more than about 10 miles. I wouldn't worry about it. Congrats!

I ordered my 540i/6. It was a VERY early build in model year 2000, and that model year started early. I took delivery in July, 1999, and it had 5 miles on it.

My M5 had 16 miles on it when I took delivery in June, 2002. They had driven the car to a shop five or six miles away to have the plastic paint protection installed on the front, which is why it was higher.
