Location for window tint here near Heidelberg
Finally got my car, 2011 135 with DCT...but the black interior is hotter than...you know. Anyone know where I can get a decent window tint near HD or K-town?
Thanks and I really appreciate all the posts...lots of info here. Rick |

Look in the Gelbe Seiten (German Yellow Pages phone book, you can pick one up at any German post office). Look under AUTOS and you should have a TRIM LINE guy near you. They are the guys who do pin stripe and dealer add ons. They most likely will also do tints.
here is there online search engine... http://www.gelbeseiten.de/yp/quick.yp |

Thanks for all the help...I found a location in Hockenheim that will do the window tint and custom paint protection for the entire front end of my 135, including splash guard protection, the door handle wells, mirrors and the rear trunk area that gets scrapped when you put heavy stuff in the trunk. He'll also install clear Foliotec security film on the front side windows that repels something like 99% of the UV rays...
David, thanks again for all your info... |

tint and paint protection
Got it done in Hockenheim...Saxon Auto line shop. 500 euros but that's tinting back and side windows, then a custom clear bra paint protection for the complete "M" package front end, about a foot up the hood, both mirrors, both door grip wells, both door edges, trunk ledge, driver and passenger "A" pillars, and behind front wheel well and infront of rear ww.
I'm pretty well protected...only thing I didn't do this trio is the Foliatec Securlux UV film for the driver and passenger door windows. Hope that helps. Speyerer Str. 14 68766 Hockenheim Deutschland Tel: +49 (0)6205 28 40 80 Fax: +49 (0)6205 28 40 90 |

Chillout ;-)
Pics forthcoming...I shot a bunch of photos a few weeks ago and just went on vacation. Just tonight got back from a two-week jaunt through Croatia, Bosnia, and Montenegro....no, not in my 135..I rented a cheap Opel car for that journey.
BTW, no 1-series coupes anywhere, only a few 1-series hatchbacks, all driven down from Germany. |
