Thumbs down Tischer

If you don't know it, customers can't contact Tischer by phone, only e-mail. I bought an item listed as being "In Stock" online from Tischer on 12 June. On 28 June it still didn't ship so I cancelled the item. The item was not yet in a shipped status. They sent me a tracking # through USPS the day after I cancelled the item. The tracking # doesn't mean the item is shipped, just that the Electronic Shipping Info was Received from Tischer. I sent them two e-mails and they haven't replied to either. What a bunch of BS.

I always found them quick to reply to my e-mails. It is very inconvenient though that they cannot be contacted by phone.

I have bought many things from Tischer. They have provided great customer service always. The phone thing kinda bugs me also, but if your patient(meaning you don't get an email reply instantly) they will get back to you within a day or two at the most.

Hey guys...I've contacted everyone in this thread that's posted about an issue that they're having with our service as of late. I'll work to resolve anything and everything that I can as soon as possible. To those who posted a postive review, Evan and I thank you for your support - we do our best here to provide a genuine BMW parts experience online and at a discounted price.

As of late, we've had some turnover in our shipping/warehouse area here at the dealership - and have been having order turnaround and customer service issues abound as a result. We are diligently working to get these issues resolved so that we can all move forward.

In the meantime, please feel free to contact Evan or I directly via our direct e-mail address if you have an issue or any questions or concerns. We'll get right back to you with quick resolution as soon as possible.

Of course, the two of us absolutely hate to see thread like these arise. Please bear with us and we'll make things for those of you that are having/have had recent issues with orders.

You are in Hawaii. ....shipping is not cheap to Hawaii...no matter the size or weight of the parts you need. We ship exclusively with UPS for most orders as its a completely integrated and automated system with our internal software. We do also offer a special USPS service for Hawaii, Alaska, PR, APO/FPO addresses, etc....but we charge a 15.00 minimum for this service as it throws our normal processes out of whack, requires more work on our end,...and does take us extra time as seen above.

Thanks for the props about our communication...Jason and I work extremely hard to keep that top-notch. We are here to help.

I've Been away from the site for a little while (only stop in to do a quick view), so sorry for the late post. In the past the only problem I have had with Tischer is when you check on an order they will say it's there and the item will ship out the same day or the next day. Well if it's there why doesn't it ship out the same day? I've run in to this probelm with them in the past with two of my orders. I contact Tischer on an item that needed to be ordered, when I email them and check on the order they tell me it's arrived and will ship out that day or the next. Why the next day why not the same day? Kind of makes you wonder is the order there or not?

Its not like yours is the only order they have to fill. They need to give themselves at least 24 hours to fill the order in case they have a whole bunch of orders to fill that day. I don't see any problem with next day shipping.

I don't either. However, let me clarify, they stated the items I ordered were there and that they would be shipped that day or the next day. I followed up the following day to see if the items had shipped and was given the same response - the items will be shipped today or tomorrow. Basically, all I was looking for was when will my order ship so I can be sure someone is home to bring it in. If they don't know when the order will ship, let the customer know that, don't continue to say today or tomorrow. Will I still order from them? Yes of course, but they need to do a better job improving on the shipping end of their business. The best customer service in the world won't help you a bit if you aren't getting orders out to the customer.

I've had pretty positives experiences with them, I think because they are high volume they get behind. Once you submit an email or cancel its like putting you in front of the line. Also keep in mind this past month weather has been to the extremes and has hampered shipping.

I had a great experience with Tischer when purchasing my OEM performance grill. Quick replies to my PMs. My order arrived well packaged and in a timely manner.

My only minor complaint was the somewhat expensive shipping and handing charge ($20). But overall, a thumbs up to Tischer.

My item has been shipped as promissed. No negative experience at all with Tischer. I just recently purchased something for the first time there.

My only complaint as well as mentioned by others is the steep $19.90 SH&H charge, especially considering my2 ordered items fit in the palm of a hand. But, the total price still beats the dealership's price plus local tax.
