Regarding 335d reprogramming recall

I have a 2009 335d with 6700 miles. I had to take the car to the dealer as the right signal was flashing rapidly and the bulb warning showed up on the dash.
They had to replace teh complete tail lamps on both sides and they said
there is a recall for reprogramming the computer for the 335d, so they gave me a loaner and the car was ready the next day.
Any 335d owners, call your dealer for this recall as I never got a notification from BMW.

There's a parrallel thread going on regarding this issue. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=407166

I was notified about the recall when I got an e-mail about it being time for a service visit (oil change, etc.)
