Tire Wear from Inside
I can feel noise and shaking from my front wheels. My mechanic told me that my tire worn from inside out. I read some posts and there are several possibility such as new alignment would fix the problem, replace tires or change suspension part.
I wonder if I don't do anything about it, will this cause more wear on suspension or other parts? How should I start to address this problem (e.g. start with new tire, then do alignment)? TIA. |

If it's worn to the point of shaking, you'll need tires at the least. When you get them installed, have the alignment done.
IF you have the Bridgestone run-flats on it, you might want to see about the "customer-complains" TSB where you might get some money out of BMW to replace them. |

Too bad that I am using Pirelli Tires.
I was actually planing to get new Bridgestone pairs. Now, I am not sure what I should get, can you recommend? Should I replace all 4 tires (my rear tires wear is not very that bad yet) or just the front which has the problem? Thanks a lot. |

are they saying the inside tire is worn??
if you have had a flat before and rode on it, that can damage inside lining and tire if its the inside of the tire thread Sounds like the Positive Camber alignment.. that would cause the inside tire to wear out faster then the rest, the shaking can be due to a difference in camber alignments with the l & r wheels or even the rears or could be a balance issue. Then again it could be worse then that and be an the strut, arm, shocks.. etc. |

if your steering wheel is vibrating, you need to get those wheels balanced but since u have camber wear u need new tires anyways but make sure they balance the tires before mount.
