Smart to buy wheels this time of year?
I recently got quoted for VMR V701 for a good price and for immediate shipment. My problem is if I don't know if I should wait till next spring since winter is coming up soon and I live in the pothole capital of the world; or buy them now while theyre in stock. What's the chances of vendors having these bad boys in stock come spring of 2011? And is it stupid of me to buy them this late into the summer?

Why not? Do you plan on keeping your old set or not? Potholes here in NJ do suck, so just be careful with the new wheels. It's also never to late for new shoes.

I just picked up a set of Breyton GTS Race wheels a couple weeks ago...plan on running them until thanksgiving, when I come home from school. Then back to stock

Inventory levels do change on a daily basis and it's hard to forecast whether the wheels will be in stock next spring. Being one of the original dealers for VMR wheels I can let you know from 6 years of experience that back orders are all too common. If you have the extra cash now picking up a set would definitely be worth it.
