Oil change reset question
Hey I've got a question that the manual wasn't able to answer for me so I thought someone here must know
I needed an oil change a week or two ago and I got it done on time and all. However the car is still telling me I need to service the car and get an oil change. If I do an oil check it comes out fine and the oil is all good, however under the service info its saying I still need the oil change which I'm guessing is just the preprogrammed mileage at which I was supposed to get the oil changed. So my question is how do I reset the oil change mileage thing? thanks to anyone who can help, much appreciated. |

Just take it back to the dealer. They must have forgot to reset it. I mean; did you get the oil changed at the dealer??

I didn't take it to the dealer for the oil change because I'm out of warranty so I went to a mechanic my family knows, and in the future I'll probably be doing my own oil changes so it'd be good to know how to reset this.
Thanks for the input though man. |
