loud engine/road noise

I have a 2006 330i and it's already out of the standard warranty. Recently my car seems noticeably louder when driving at highway speeds, and I can't tell if it's tire, engine, or road noise, or a combination of the three. Or maybe the car is just louder with age. The car computer tells me everything is normal (except for the microfilter which I know needs to be changed). I'm not really sure what I should do or if anything is wrong with the car - should I bring it to a dealer or some independent shop to run some sort of diagnostic test? How much would that cost?

When you let off the gas is the noise still present? If no noise then its not the engine. Possibly your tires or wheel bearings?? idk
