did i get the right anti-seize?
okay, so i'm still not sure if i'm going to use it on the spark plug threads. i figured i'd go ahead an buy some at autozone just in case. this i what i got:
permatex sensor-safe ultra copper silicone gasket maker is this the right stuff...the assistant there said it was the only copper one they had...it does not say anti-seize anywhere thanks |

well, there is obviously some heavy debate as to whether it should be applied or not...i'm leaning toward not but the bentley manual does say to do so....I looked on the permatex website and the autozone guy gave me the wrong stuff...glad i checked

Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger

thanks chriztofor,
I went to autozone and returned the one they gave me. They have the one you linked above...however, I do not see where it says it is copper based as others have suggested on this board...thought? |
