Smile Local Source for ASA or CSL wheels/Toyo Tires??

I would like to get a set of Toyo Proxes 4 tires on either ASA AR2 or CSL rep wheels. I can't find a source on-line. Anyone know of a local source that can do this? I will also need the in-tire TPM sensors and special valve stems. My E93 should be delivered in late April or early May so I have plenty of time, just need to find a source. Thanks.

I get my tires online from Discount tires, they most time beat Tirerack with free delivery.

I can recommend Radial Tires at Silver Springs for Toyo tires. I got my M3 T1Rs from them, but I would NOT recommend them for installation, for they do massive install without lifts, thru cheap labor its seems. I was a nervous wreck watching a biting my nails seeing their laborers install my tires with hydrailic jacks and car stands, while seeing tire/equipment traffic pass near my car by inches. They grease up my alloys and didnt care about my BMW caps, plus seems like no one is really in charge.

o boy! never again! for a few dollars savings.

I say get the tires from them if they are cheaper and have it installed somewhere else. Proxie 4 are All Season tire btw, I guess you mean the ever popular Proxie T1Rs. Im very happy with them very quick response transfer and stick to the road like gum.

btw here's the M3 guys source for Toyos btw http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=96585
I was able to beat their shipped price thru Radials w/ installation, but never again will I have Radials Tires touch my M3 again..

Thanks, I'll check Radial for Toyo tires. I am interested in Proxes 4 as I do drive in all seasons. Still looking for a single source for tires and wheels. Anyone know of one? Thanks.

I too have looked at the proxes 4's. Unfortunately, they dont come in the right sizes for OEM 18 inch staggered setups though... They fit perfectly on 19 inch aftermarket setups though...

bavarian19, I agree. I had pretty much decided to stay with 18" setup but might be tempted to go to 19s. Can someone describe the ride differences when switching from 18" RFTs to 19" non-RFTs?

A set of CSL reps with Toyo Proxes 4 would be an awesome combination if I can find someone to sell them to me.

**********s.com for the CSL reps

Do a dealer search under the toyo website. Last time I looked I found a tire place in Fairfax that was selling toyo tires...

if I didnt have Winter Performance Michelin Pilots Alpins 18", I would be riding on my beloved Michelins Pilots Sport staggered All-Seasons. There's truely nothing wrong with NRFT All-Season for DC Metro's very mild Winter season. In fact, Im very pleased. I dont even think we'll get Winter with this Global Warning going on.

Now for 18" to 19" conversion, thats strickly a personal call base on needs and utility of the car. In my personal M Cabrio experience, I did 19" on my M for a more sportier look, and it would be very hard for me to go back to 18". Even though I still have a good set laying around. 19" also provides me a more grounded feel on the M. During cornering on off ramps, I get a little more bigger grin.

For cruising and ride comfort, I'd say 18" yeah will give you some, but I dont find the 19" really too bad of a ride. In fact Im even considering coilovers with the 19" sometime. So, I expect more a stiffer/harder performance ride

Since you seem to sway towards All-Seasons, I take take you'll be riding your e93 all year round, therefore I say go 18" for your DD. Thats my 02 cents.

There's no right or wrong, just personal needs and likes. Hope my little personal experience is useful
