typical costs of a simple aftermarket muffler installation?

Hey guys, thinking about getting the Remus powersound exhaust for 328i, and im just wondering what you guys paid to have it professionally installed? This would be my first aftermarket exhaust so i just wna get an idea so i dont get ripped off haha.

Also i heard a resonator delete typically costs $150-200. Does that sound right? Thanks in advance!

reasonator del shouldn't cost more than $100

Really depends on the shop. Obviously a catback is going to cost more than a muffler or resonator delete will. On average for me I've been quoted around $200 for a full system install and about $50-$100 on deletes.

For a bolt on exhaust; never pay more then $50. And 150 for the resonator. But if you do the res delete at the same time you can work a deal so you just end up paying for the delete since they got the same amount of welding to do; either if you weld you Oem exhaust or aftermarket one.

If you plan to do both of them, I would definitely do both at the same time.

I just ordered a Remus power sound for my 328i, Ill let you know how it is. Not sure if I need a resonator delete on it yet...
