i see some guys on the forum talk about guys running around with laptops that can code their cars in 10 mins. just makes me wonder because autologic is software + hardware. I want to know the truth about the Blackwater project!!

That kind of coding cannot be done with the BT Tool. the BT Tool only works with the BT Software. There is a "coding" section in the BT software, but not what you are referring to as far as LCI Taillight or windows roll up coding ect.

so much info on that forum. being the lazy person i am, i was hoping for a quick and clear list of software and hardware i'd need to do common coding for the e92 (amber delete, window rolling, etc).
i know it's all in there somewhere, but i'm not sure which is for the e46 and which is for the newer cars. and there seems to be so many different softwares. Quote:

I guess i gotta buy the cable. Ill check it out and if it works ill will spread the news. Its kinda backwards to pay someone to code your car because whenever you go in for service they erase all of it.
btw here is the beginning http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum....php?t=1401774

http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum....php?t=1312104 Install SSS Progman from your link above. Run IFHSrv32.exe and then run SSS Progman. For E9x cars, you'll need to install NCS Expert 3.1.0: http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum...php?p=20144115 |
