FS: 1-of-a-kind M3 335 exhaust and diffuser
This is a custom exhaust for an E90 335 using an OEM E90 M3 muffler and includes a custom Mtech diffuser. Completely unique look, improved sound, and better performance. I'm selling the car, so my pride-and-joy project has to go. The exhaust is made-up of 3 sections: -Rennart stainless resonated head-pipes -Rennart stainless mid-pipes -OEM M3 muffler from a 2010 E90 M3. The muffler has less than 5K miles on it. The custom diffuser fits the Mtech E90 rear bumper. It is an E46 carbon fiber CSL diffuser modified to fit the E90 Mtech bumper and is currently painted black. This is a very high quality set-up, uses all factory hangers, and requires NO CUTTING. All you do is bolt it up, adjust one pair of hangers, and drill 2 holes for the rear hanger mount. The Rennart sections are much lighter than the stock pipes and the high-flow resonators replace the secondary cats. Couple that with the OEM M3 muffler that flows enough air for a 4.0 liter V8 with 400 HP and you have a system that is much higher flow than stock and best of all, looks completely unique. It's slightly louder than stock, but not as loud as some aftermarket systems I have heard. There is absolutely no drone at any speed. $500 for the exhaust and the diffuser. Prefer locals but will check into shipping if necessary. Pics and sound clips below. Wow, nice. Great deal. Would buy it if I had M-Tech rear.
Willing to part out section 1 and 2? If so, would they fit the stock exhaust or have they been modified? Thanks. |

Thanks for the interest. I'll check on shipping and post a reply.
Sorry, don't want to part out at this point. Plus, I'm not 100% sure it would mate up with a stock muffler. |

Is the e92 muffler or the e90 muffler bigger?

First, shipping costs:
-I can get everything in 2 boxes. 1 for the muffler (heavy!) and 1 for the pipes and diffuser. -Shipping costs via UPS are roughly $50 for the muffler box and $30 for the pipes box. Second, individual prices: -Muffler: $200 -Pipes: $200 -Diffuser: $100 Third, on the fit questions: -I'm 99% sure the only difference in E90 and E92 mufflers is tip length. The muffler itself is identical. -NiVeDh, the section 1 and 2 pipes haven't been modified at all, but I don't know if they would mate-up with another brand of muffler. Obviously any competent exhaust shop could make them fit. Tufgsd has dibs on everything if he wants them, otherwise I'll part it out at the prices above plus shipping. I'll post an update as soon as I get an answer from Tufgsd. |

The M3 muffler itself should fit any E90/E92. The muffler "well" under the body is virtually identical for all E90/E92s. Also, the tip length on the E92 may be just a little longer, but nobody seems to know for sure.
Regardless, the diffuser will only fit an E90 Mtech rear bumper. If you wanted to put this system on an E92, you would have to figure out some kind of diffuser solution. |

Bump
I have a few people interested in the pipes and muffler separately but would prefer to sell as a complete system. Come on all you E90 Mtech owners...a completely unique look, improved performance and no drone! |

Props to you Chance! Great setup....I love the "out of the box" thinking on this one. If I had an M-Tec rear bumper I would definitely buy this....
