I've had my car a week and someone decided that they wanted in my lane without looking/speeding up to get in front fast enough and their tire hit my fender, and their car hit my wing mirror!

Thankfully, the only real damage is the mirror, which is going to cost about $500 to replace or 380 just for the glass (heated, and auto dim, memory) At least that is what I was told it had? I had no clue

Sucks dude, are you talking about the M3 style mirrors? those rock! good luck with the repairs

how about insurance from the person that hit you picking up the tab for that broken mirror and fender????? tell me you filed a police report and that the other person got the ticket.

Yes, I got the insurance information- I also called the police, when they got to the scene they told me that since no one was hurt, I would need to fill out a blue form, which he gave me.. asked if I or her had any questions and then left!

But yea, I did file on the insurance and they said it would be 24-48 hours before someone contacted me..I got the quotes from a repair facility by the house..
