Good non-run flat

Any suggestions on a good non run flat for a 330xi? I'm ditching the run flats and have been looking at several options but beed some suggestions as far as road noise and grip are concerned.

My current run flats make a very loud squishing sound in the bead where the tire and wheel join. I took it to a tire shop and they have no clue what is wrong with them. It squishes when pressure is applied. The tire tech said the noise isnt from uneven wear either. Anyone hear of anything like this? the noise i have now is the main reason i am buying new tire.

Michelin have served me well, Continentals are a close second

I just bought nonRFTs for my '06 330xi and I love them. Cheap too!

Great replacement for the originals. They have a nice stiff wall so you don't lose some of the steering feel of the RFT's but they ride softer on the road. Their grip is awesome, and they are all-seasons just like the originals. EXCELLENT bang for the buck.

I'm pretty satisfied with my yokohama s.drive tires.

for the record, stay away from all-season tires as they are basically useless. this is coming from someone with past experience and I'm sure most will agree.

Dont have the budget for a set of dedicated snows right now or I would have a set of blizzaks and a set of Hoosiers. I have too many cars that need shoes. All seasons with x drive should work fine in a pinch. Summer tires and snow don't mix so if you cant have a dedicated set, or just want a nonRFT on par with the original RFT's, all-seasons are the choice.

I recently installed Continental Extreme Contract DW's. Extremely low road noise, very nice.

All season recommendations would include the Michelin Sport A/S plus, Conti DWS, and Yokohama Avid Envigor. For summer tires, its hard to beat the Michelin PS2. For a lower cost but still great performance I also like the Goodyear F1 Asymmetric and Conti DW.

I've had Goodyear F1's on my WRX and my 350HP turbo Datsun 280Z. Both sets of tires became heavily feathered about half way through their life. They became so noisy that they were unusable. I have written statements from a Goodyear dealer that my cars were aligned properly. Never again Goodyears. YMMV

I'm using Conti Extreme Contact DW. Although i'm looking at other options, i'm almost sure at this point i'll be going back with them. They have low road noise, comfortable ride, and they handle very well. Steering response is good, and they are very stable in the corners. Not to mention, the price is outstanding!

I have had several sets of Conti Sports in my lifetime and all of them have been great... +1 to flawlesskid.
