Maintenance Service Records

Question I searched for and can't find an answer...

Is there a way to pull all the service records for your car on line?

I think Car Fax will pick up some services, but I'm looking for everything done on the car.

Thanks in advance....

Don't think so but you can just go to a dealership and request your complete service record. I've done this twice and both times the service history was mailed to me next day.

Got service records for both of my CPO cars including the CPO vehicle inspection checklist. The car's were purchased at two different dealerships, I asked the salesman at each dealership and they gave them to me during the sale without much hesitation. I actually reviewed the records during the purchase and have copies with my purchase agreement.

I asked my dealership for a copy of the fault codes that came up when theyhad my car and they told me they didnt have them. They just cleared their records. I also was told that the codes are not something that stays with your records. So if you get a code while your car is being serviced, the next time it goes in they may not have anyrecord of the code coming up in a previous visit, or if you go to a different dealership they wont know any of the fault codes that came up before.
I was surprised. Doesnt make a lot of sense though.
