Tire Recommendations

I'm running Toyos on 19'' Volk wheels on an e90. I need new tires and I'm looking for recommendations. The rears are 235/35 R19 and the fronts are 265/30 R19The car is not tracked but most of the miles are driven at hightways speeds or greater.

It has been a while since I have looked into tires so I don't know the latest and greatest

For summer only non runflat tires the Michelin PS2, Goodyear F1 Asymmetric and Continental DW are among the best available.

What kind of driving will you be doing? How much were you looking to spend? This will help others narrow down the selection for you.

I have a 60 mile round trip drive to work. 45 miles or so are great backroads I can drive highway speeds or greater. North Carolina winters are not bad so I'm not worried about a winter tire.

I don't want to say money doesn't matter but I want a good. solid tire that will last and perform well.

The Hankook V12 performs fairly well for those greater back roads and it does offer a decent tread wear rating for the money.

Interesting you posted that. I just talked to a guy at a local shop and he recommended the Evo V12's

The Hankook Evo V12's are extremely popular right now as there is currently a $60 rebate with the purchase of a set of tires. If your local shop did not mention that to you, it's more than likely that they're trying to pocket the rebate (which some people try to pocket). They do have a great overall rating on tirerack.com and I've had nothing but positive feedback from customers running that exact setup.

How would the Hankooks compare with the Toyo Proxes T1R's I have now? What about the Continental DW's?
