This isn't me asking to match two cars that aren't available, but I want to know what your thoughts are on the STI against the e9x m3. lets say the car is 420 hp and 3500 lbs, HYPOTHETICALLY, do you think the m3 will still have trouble holding it off or do you think the boost will be exactly what we need?

thanks, long argument with a fellow enthusiast, and as if you couldn't guess, he drives an 06' STI.

hard to say, STI is awd and lighter. so off the line it might beat the m3. but i bet around 60 the m3 will pull the fuck away from it. but its too son to tell, car isn't out yet :/

hah yeah i know thats why i was trying to steer my question away from comparing them. i know my e46 can pull on them OK at around 100 but they still are on my tail. i hate it haha.
