Exhaust and Mods

I own a 2006 325i and I was looking for a nice sounding exhaust system.
Do you have any suggestions for exhausts I should look at?
Should I go with just a muffler or invest in the whole system? How much of the exhaust system do I need to get a nice sound?
And I was told installing a different exhaust system would mess with some of the electronics in my car, is this true?
Thanks.

Also, I'm looking at blacking out my car. So far I am planning on blacking out the grille and emblems. What other things can/should I black out on my car? And if it is something I would need professionally done how much would it cost?

Some of your options are

Rogue Engineering Ikon
SuperSprint
Remus Muffler
BMW Performance Muffler
MMW Motorwerks Gut - Retune Muffler (Member Craven 328 has good reviews)
Top Speed Muffer (still looking for link maybe not for the E90)

black wheels, tints, blacklines(smoked blacklines by depo if u want to go that far but i think blacklines are smoked enough imo). Cost of wheels depends on what kind of wheels/tire setup u buy. Tints can range from $150-$300 depending on what kind of tint u get and what shop u go to. You can prob find a used set of blacklines in the FS section for $200 or less.

Next weekend I'm going to paint my front grilles black. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=3830

Then I'm going to overlay all my emblems with black instead of blue. Then hopefully getting shadow letters for the back of my car. (http://www.jlevistreetwerks.com/3-Se...duct_info.html)

I don't have the money for blackline tail lights right now. has anyone used http://www.caswellplating.com/vht/vht_spec.htm for their taillights?

Also, I don't have the money but I was looking at getting some new wheels. Where do you recommend buying wheels at a good price? Is there any way I can trade mine in to get a cheaper price?

Ye those are good ideas. I dont kno bout painten front grills i bought em black from BMW performance already came in black. Im not sure I can be of much help with wheels because i am from Europe Croatia and i got them from my local dealer. But from the forums I c that it all depends what u want. For example VMRs look really good and they are much cheaper than BBS. I was even considered them cuz they look really good but they are unable here.

vmr v710 matte black

Just type in google pics VMR v710 matt black

Hope it helps,

Both the Rogue Engineering Rogue IKON and Remus Sport exhaust systems have been extremely popular among the E90 N52 community. In terms of blacking out your car, I would recommend the black line tail lights, matte black grills, and the Avant Garde M310 in matte black. Here's a picture for you to check out. I can't drop you a pm due to your low post count so shoot me over an email here at Alan************.com and I'll get you a bit more details!

If you're looking for an exhaust, might as well just do a rear section exhaust. The best rear section that I am aware of, in my opinion, would be Eisenmann. Feel free to check it out here:

Eisenmann - Performance Exhaust 2x70mm - e90/91 325i/xi
http://www.europeanautosource.com/pr...oducts_id=2844

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

I''m trying to find an exhaust that I can both feel and hear when I have my windows up but I don't want to spend more than a thousand dollars. I also want a deep tone.
Any suggestions? I feel like Remus and RE Ikon aren't very loud and have a high tone. AM I wrong?

Magnaflow makes a kit for the 330, which can be put on the 325 if you really want to.

magnaflow has it listed for about 1000$ if I remember right
