The last generation A4 wasn't the e46's match, nor will the current generation be. It just doesn't handle as well. I do love Audi interiors, but that's about all I think the car has on the E90. The upcoming RS4, now that's another matter

You mean this new IS? Lexus has a ton to improve on from the last IS to even be in the same league as a 330. I remember before it first came out everyone proclaimed it to be a BMW 3 series killer. THat was a bust.
It doesn't look bad tho... |

that car is a ****in rip of the E90 !!! am I the only one that sees that. lexus is weak as fuk. to me the real competition for the e90 is that a4 audi which is really nice. my sis has one and it is solid but booring as **** to drive even though it goes fast. so to me the bimmer still wins hands down

The A4 might look nice and have a great interior, but there's still no RWD only version of it. If you don't get the AWD, the A4 is gonna handle like a pig. I think you have to step up to the S4/RS4 to truly be able to compete with the new 3 series.

The TSX is so blaaa. I read a review where they basically said that BMW stepped it up another notch with this new 3-series and are setting a standard that the other manufacturers won't be able to touch. What's new |

I went and did some research on the new 2006 IS350. It will have about 300hp and auto transmission and only gets 0-60 in the high 5 seconds. Anyone still think it's the E90's equal?

okay the g35 is a good car but i perfer Bmw way more than Japanese cars. but yes the is350 does look like the e90 but thats probally the only way toyota can sell it!!!! the tsx omg its sucks i would take the rsx type s over that.
blackpanther Bmw is conservative on the 0-60 times very conservative. my list would be merc c class g35 maybe the IS okay but how bout the m3 when it comes out? |

Lexus took way too much of a dramatic change with their new design. It seems like Toyota thinks (like Cadillac) that all their cars from a certain line should all have the same basic appearance (an idea that the Europeans had for like 10 years now), e.g. all Cadillacs now have that box shape, and the new IS looks exactly like a mini GS, or even some have compared it to a Scion tC. Even the front ends of all Chevrolets are now the same (except the Corvette, which looks like a Viper). With the new IS350, Lexus wants to appeal to a more conservative group, rather than just rich high school and college kids that the IS300 pulled in, and thus, you get the new IS350. I think the new E90 is superior to the Lexus in every way possible, but of course the fact that I now drive an 06 325i has nothing to do with my opinion |

In my opinion...the IS somewhat resembles the Scion Tc...which is weak. Relax...everyone knows you already bought a somewhat over-priced German car...no need to justify your decision. |

Wow, this thread is really classy fellas. Some of you guys are pushing to have E90post quickly heading down the tubes like the rest of the boards apparently.
What the hell is up with all the attitude and cursing? Maybe we should have an 18 and over rule here since people don't know how to conduct a civil discussion.
