From what I understand you're considering buying a 335is but want to make sure it's propensity to be easily tuned for more power is intact, am I wrong?

If not, the 335is retains the older, more supported, and currently "more tuneable" N54 version of the motor, as opposed to the N55 which all other non M, non is 335s get. Intake, intercooler, and meth systems should translate pretty comparably. I can't speak for sure about the tunes, as the 335is comes with a different tune straight from the factory than does the N54 most non is N54 335 owners are more versed upon.

Hope this helps.

There are lots of people out there that have done this and more. This engine is easily tunable to 500 whp.

We did a JB3 and dci on one of our customer cars. Meth, front mount and downpipes are next (probably over the winter).

Just as tuneable. The dct is sickness. Procede increases shift responsiveness and puts down major power. The IS is the way to go. I have a vert so I don't even bother posting my times. I'm going to add meth soon and dps are going in Friday.(ar). I'll post a dyno and some slips as the weather cools down here in SFL.
