service standard scope

question i took the 352i in for brake fluid service today and i am also being charge for a service standard scope. what does that mean? and will i be charged eveytime i get some type of service done on the car. thanks new owner

Sounds like they are just scanning the modules in the car. Get a Bavarian Techniques (BT) scan tool and DYI it next time.
