Upgrade turbos or new car?

Hey guys, I want to get some input from you guys about this. My turbos are getting louder and louder by the day and I was thinking about trading her in for a new car. Since SID is getting a M3, I was thinking about giving him some competition and picking up a CLK63 AMG Black Series until I saw how ridiculous one of those run even used. Then someone suggested that I get some upgraded turbos instead. Should I be the first in Colorado with upgraded turbos or should I just trade her in? What do you guys think? Thanks.

If you are looking in roughly a new M3 price range, I've seen '09 GT-Rs in the high 60s.

Just a thought!

I love changing cars. I go through cars a lot. Being that said, I'd get a new car and give me all of your mods for free

Good thinking Rich. I don't know how that slipped past my mind. A new GT-R would be killer.

The longest I've owned a car is 2 years. This car is probably the longest car I will own since my wife and I are thinking about buying a house next year.

There is one at Tynans Nissan. Funny thing is I was going to go look at it but there is no way I could get a set of snow tires on that car. And the maintenance (i.e. brakes) scares me big time.

I don't blame you. It just scared me. That's why no GT-R for me.

I wanted to say that you'd look funny in one of those (being an asian in a viper), but I didn't want to be the one to say it

Hey Alfred, I saw an asian guy (looked like he was in his late 20's earley 30's) driving a black Ferarri F430 down 104th AVE the other day.

A ferrari is a whole different story.

Would you consider a 911?

How about the AR single? Go big or go home.

Let us know more details about a new car, 2 door, back seat, ability to run winter wheels/tires, etc.

Porsche would be sweet, but killer maintenance. Vette has amazing bang for the buck, as does new 5.0, get some shocks and give Sid a run on the road course.

If only Andrew would finish with the kit soon. It's taking him too long. I was actually going to the the second car that AR put his single turbo kit on to test. At that time, I was thinking GT40. He still has some bugs to work out. As in the new car, if you've ever been to my work, I have a little printout of a CLK63 AMG Black Series and put right under it " Goal for 2011." I have a winter beater so it's going to be a summer car. I know this car would give SID a good run. No more 2 seaters. I had a roadster before the 335 and traded it in for 4 seats.
