e93 - Thumbs up from Autocar
Just read the article in Autocar where they drove the new convertible in Arizona. In short the car is not as sharp as the coupe but it is top of the pile if you're in the market for a new drop top. They rated the 335 against the Audi S4 and judged the 335 the better of the two. Good news indeed.
The pictures are great (reminded me of our hols in August in Sedona) and even had a little write up on the m3. Can't wait for mine in March. Miopyk |

I predict the E93 to be a huge hit in the UK. Not sure that comparing the S4 with the 335i is fair... the E93 M3 is probably intended to compete with the S4 I would have thought.

I thinks maybe the Journos are prepping Audi for some bad news!

Was it compared against a S4 cab?
cos they have been reported (in autocar) as being the worst of the S4 clan as a drivers car and expensive. My wife's boss has a red S4 avant and she was very unimpressed by the lack of visual appeal/drama for a £50K+ car. Then again she wasn't initially that impressed with our Coupe when it arrived ..she has only driven it 10 yards in 4 months (out of the garage). Me I sort of like that Q car look..but having had a really bad experience with the local Audi stealer, can't see me having an Audi. Then again would I buy a E93? Unlikely

I thought long and hard about the new TT... but two things put me off: Some have said the Glasgow Audi dealership is quite dreadful to deal with (all aspects from sales to servicing and afersales). I also didn't want to pay over £30K for a car which has parts shared from a Skoda or VW - sorry, I know the second part is a bit snobbish!
The thing I really wonder about with folding hardtops is the number of moving parts in them... in terms of how they all link together and whether they will rattle, squeak or leak!!
