tune, downpipes, meth, intake, and maybe FMIC.
2500 is more than enough to get big horsepower. Procede = 945, downpipes = 200, meth kit + failsafe = 460, intake 130, intercooler 700. 2435 total. That setup had me put down 424whp on a blazing hot, humid day.

Jb3 or Procede- $350-940 depending witch route you decide to go.
Intake---------$120 Meth----------$250-700 depending witch kit failsafes etc. downpipes-----$160-200 raceland downpipes The FMIC will help but the mods above will in fact get you above 400whp easy the FMIC will help a lil bit. Search all of the above items and see witch one you like.

Unless you are good at DIY, budget install costs.
very rough estimates DP - 4 hrs (XI likely more) FMIC - 1-3 hrs depending on fit/trimming etc

F%ck getting more HP, throw in an LSD, way more worth it and no warranty issues. And i don't know if people are adding tax and installation for all the parts...

Don't believe us? Take a look at the back half of a quarter mile run. You'll see 21-22 mph with the stock FMIC, and 24+ on an aftermarket. It's one of the most essential mods if you plan on running high boost.

+1 for the intercooler. I also recommend an oil cooler if you like to drive hard. Tune too.
Procede + CPE Oil/Intercooler + meth = 950 + 1000 + (not sure how much a meth kit is) |

Cheap
Jb3 - 350 Downpipes - 170 Intercooler - 350 DCI - 100 Meth - 400 Total = 1370 Expensive Procede - 700 Downpipes - 600 Intercooler - 700 DCI - 100 Meth - 400 Total = 2500 By the way...Neither is right or wrong, it's all about what you feel is best for you. I personally believe the Procede is better and is worth the extra bucks. However, between the Raceland downpipes and AR downpipes, it's more of a matter of 5-10 horsepower. So these are things you must ask yourself. |

I'm not a believer either. Each turbo is only pushing, at most, 250hp worth of exhaust. 2.5" should be more than enough for that power level. And considering that even a 3" DP necks down to 2.5" by the midpipe, it's even less convincing.

I'd chalk up the gains to something else (ignition advance, operating conditions, IAT, etc,.) Unless all inputs/outputs are being controlled and monitored, these kind of comparison are anything but conclusive. I'm not trying to discount the inherent merits of a larger ID exhaust. All I'm saying is at this relatively low power level (per turbo), it's very unlikely that you will see gains after a certain point. And claiming 10-15whp is very unlikely. Shiv |

2500 is more than enough to get you started on performance mods. try a tune - alot of HP for the buck. (be aware of what it can do to ur warranty if caught , just research) Exhaust Intake I'm sure once you start - you'll find out more info with performance mods for the N54 engine - like many members have listed.
