Diff cover with Drain bolt?
Hello, I am wondering if anyone has looked into having our diff covers tapped for a drain bolt? Or if there are any BMW covers with a drain that can be swapped on (like M coupe finned cover on an E30)? Or if a shop could make one up? Seems that it would be something those of us that don’t believe the “lifetime fill” hype and plan to keep our cars for awhile would want to do? Or people who drive their cars hard (track, drag strip, high power, LSD swap) would want for frequent changes. I know it’s possible to suction it out through the fill plug, but I’d happily pay $150-250 for a cover with a drain so I could do the swap easily and know I got as much out as possible.
