e90 n55 resonator+cats delete?

did the unplugging the acuator mod in the trunk, was thinking maybe having the resonator + secondary cats delete, or just the resonator delete for a better sound, good idea or bad idea? anyone had it done? Any ill affects causing the car losing power or any of that sort?

The n55 has no secondary cats or resonator...

I'm not really sure what it was. It may have been that, may have been something else since I put the muffler on and I was still getting the same results.

Don't kill the planet. There's only one cat on the N55.

I think it's a very bad idea to unplug that actuator. Not only did I throw a CEL twice after 2 months, I also lost a good bit of power. Now that everything is back to normal, the car is a rocket. If you want a deeper tone, just buy another exhaust. IMHO, the N55 exhaust sounds sexy stock. If you need some extra drone, then aftermarket it is.

The N55 exhaust also does not have any secondary cats whatsoever and only x-drive models have the resonators. My coupe exhaust is straight all the way to the rear.

I wonder why BMW decided to take this route with the N55 and not give the RWD and X-drive the same exhaust. AWD packaging maybe?

By the way NJ, how do you like the new car so far?

i do like it, alot actually. the bilsteins with h&r suspension is awesome. but digging into the turns with a few small bumps make it dance all over!!! i talked to a reputable shop and they said its not the suspension its the crappy runflats! so if it is the runflats, im very upset at this ;/

I guess if our cars came with a donut, then the trunk would be the same size as the G37 coupe's.
