belt noise?
When I start my car ('07 328i) in the morning or after it's been sitting for a while it squeals for about 1 second like the belt is slipping. If the engine is warmed up (and presumably the belt) it starts without the noise. Does anyone know if this is a belt tensioning problem or could it be something else. If it is a tension problem is it an easy fix?
Thanks. |

When my belt tensioner died it sounded like I had a super charger under the hood and it gave up at around 120k miles.
