Actually, Craven is correct. The pipes (Y-Pipe) BEFORE the resonator on our 325/328/330's are 2.25", the piping AFTER the resonator is 2.5" all the way up to the muffler, the tips coming out of the muffler are 2.25". I am positive.

i used those same clamps from my old BMW PE and used
them on the OEM exhaust.
did it not fit at all?

try ur best to fit it, should slide on. if not and that indentation is
stop'n you...
it maybe easier/cheaper to go to the muffler shop and have it weld'd on.

Long Tran got that clamp on my OEM exhaust no prob.
did u try to spread the clamp a bit to get a bigger opening?

again if ur stuck, head to the muffler shop and work out
a deal - should be straight forward for them.
good luck, let us know what happens.

ya maybe a 1000hp engine needs a 4inch exhaust. Yours is 2.5 inches.

Oddly enough which I find interesting on the 530 n52 the exhaust pipe is 2.75 inches.

Find it interesting why they chose to make it different and yet the outputs of the engine rated the sae--not sure why they did that.

What a joker though--what planet are you living on you think your stock exhaust is 4 inches--ok idioit

i could do that but im a DIY person.. i measured the pipe and it measured over 3. maybe i had a few brews. ill have to check it again, but there is NO WAY that clamp is fitting without leaking.

no clue but telling someone to eat sh*t isn't going to get you anywhere. how tight is the fit? maybe some multipurpose spray and hammer would do the trick?

well there are two different clamps, a 55mm and a 65mm, maybe you have the wrong one?

btw, 55mm = ~2.2 inches

and 65mm = ~2.56 inches

The 2.2 is for the midpipe connection

2.5 is for the muffler to res delete connection
