320 Mtec led angel eyes

Hi guys,

I got my 320d M Sport (2006) yesterday and im loving it.

I have seen some nice mods on here but would like some clarification.

My stock angel eyes are yellow and the lights are xenons (white). Can I use the Mtec led to ugrade the eyes to a white light without cutting wires or getting additional units etc?

If anyone has installed them could you tell me if it was easy or difficult?

Secondly, is there any way of getting the eyes to flash/turn on when you unlock/lock the car?

Thanks, Skyf

What do you mean the MTec LED ?
And no, there's no way of using the angel eyes as alarm repeaters

Mtec do a pair of led bulbs that turn the yellow stock angel eyes into a white light. Search mtec led e90 in eBay.

Thanks

Mtech is just a company
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MTEC-V2-1-LED-...ht_2231wt_1139
£60 off ebay
I bought these which have 2 leds in each marker. Cheaper at £33

If you want to use them for the alarm blinkers dont know about that, but if you switch your lights to auto then close this should happen

How bright are they and how difficult was it to fit? Will they fit a 320d/e90?

Thanks

Brightness is good. Car was/still is in bodyshop so lights were off, i did a xenon conversion & replaced angel eye bulbs. The lamps were off so it was very easy. I suppose if you remove the small panel under wheel arch, unclip cover, remove existing lamp & replace. reclip cover shouldnt be to difficult. expect car back next week, dec prob will take a pic for then....

Excuse my ignorance here with stupid questions....so do these bulbs turn the angel eye DRLs and sidelights to the newer white/xenon look of the latest models? Love the new white look so would certainly get some if that was the case. Cheers.

Can anyone help with a white light up-grade for a 2009+ E90? Every link I find specifically excludes these models....

I have had mine in for a few weeks now. No problems so far apart from one side seems dimmer than the other. I would actually try alternatives as I have seen brighter ones out there.

Secondly it will change your side lights to White, not your main beam, you will need to get xenons for that.

I will try and post a pic

I have xenons, just looking to change my side lighyts and DRLs to the white light of the latest models. Anybody? Is this just a bulb change from BMW for the later model e90s?
