is it worth to get a extended maintenance worth 2K? thanks

welll.. from a purely monetary point of view..

the total cost of all the maintainence that will be performed on your car will be cheaper if you took them to indy shops and/or diy..

if you prefer to have them done at stealerships however, then the extended maintenance is the way to go =D

I do most of my maintainence at home. Anything I can't there are a ton of reputable shops that perform good work and will be cheaper than the rates at your local dealership.

yeah .. and by bmw's clock you only get 1 oil change per 15k miles.. so 3 oil changes with your extension :P

its all depends on your point of view.
For me, I got it. I already have the extend warranty and now i have the extended maintenance as well. I don't have the luxury of working on my car myself like I use to. So now i have up to 100,000 miles for both. Its a piece of mine that i don't have to worry about something coming up and me not having the money to replace or fix something. So it is really up to you. All we can do on this forum is give our opinions.

Whats the average cost to get brake pads and rotors in indy shop? Also oil change?
