Winter Tires for the 1M? 245/35/19 front 265/35/19 rear

i cant find any winter tires in the OEM 1M tire sizes... I wonder if 18"s would fit around those big brakes, would be much easier to find winter tires to fit 18"s

The 1M has the same brakes as the M3, so 18s do fit. For example, BMW has been testing the car with the 18" winter wheels they offer for the M3 in Europe: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=458684

Best regards,
south

17"s dont fit an M3 and in reality a 225 square setup (like I run) would be fint, albiet they wouldnt fit the 1MCs wheels.

It was nice to get this question answered with a quick search. Not only would 18" wheels work better for available winter tires, it also works better for R compound autocross or racing tires. 19" rubber can be rare and expensive.
