I've never seen that on mine. I've worked it for hours before and i felt it getting warm, but no warning.

this happens whenever I've texting roughly 10 people at once back and forth for about an hour while also responding to emails and checking facebook and twitter simultaneously; along with safari at times

Never seen it before, although I am probably not what would be considered a power user. Mine doesn't even get warm, even when bouncing between texts and games.

I like how the phone refers to itself in the third person.

If that happens very often to you, take it to your local Apple Store. They'll run some diagnostics on it, and look at the logs to see if it's malfunctioning. If it is, they'll replace it for you for free. Apparently several phones in the earlier batches had this issue.

ive never seen this before, and I put some heavy duty use on my phone.

maybe its one of the cydia apps you have installed that causing the problem, I would def restore it back and take it in. just make sure you back up you SHSH blobs so you can later re-JB it

As long as the battery lasts until the next one comes out as I change iPhones annually

Yeah I need to... just hate to lose my jailbreak
Without TetherMe, SBSettings, Installous, Add Call History (ACH), 3G unrestricter.. to name a few, I don't know if I could use an iPhone.

Without ACH I won't be able to make my girl believe I did in fact call her and not be able to put the blame on her/off of me for forgetting something.
And it allows me to delete phone calls from other girls in my recent too, just in case she somehow gets to my phone
That app is a life saver

I've only gotten that once and it was when I left my phone out at the beach in the summer sun for a few hours

Yeah I have my SHSH backed up

But I read if you buy the new one you can't to a regular JB even with SHSH backed up; you can only do a tethered JB which sucks

This happened when I got my 1st iPhone 4 and it wasn't even JBed, it was a week after launch
they replaced it no problem

So this phone is still on their first set of batches

Damn and here I was hoping others had seen this

Guess either mine is really fucked up, or I'm just too much of a user

Never got that screen, but mine regularly gets hot and burns through batteries (as if it's working the processor too hard) unless I shut it off and turn it on again. I dunno what prompts it, it just happens once in a while, even when I have no apps or anything open. Oh well, POS.

thats a good point, backing up the SHSH blobs only works in they return you the same one. I new one would have diff SHSH. Hopefully the untethered JB will be out soon
