I need a new windscreen ! - I have noticed that all the glass in my car has a light green tinge to it. Is this bmw solar glass ? Just need to ensure that the windscreen company get the right one

Sounds like the standard glass. I think the existing screen would either be standard, gradient top or heat reflective with gradient top. You can obviously see the gradient band if you have it; to tell if it's heat-reflective, look for a little logo with a thermometer and a sun down around the BMW/Saint-Gobain markings.

BTW, what's an 'M330i'? ;-)

Here's an early picture of the car - the glass all has a green tinge to it. Is this standard or an extra, if so what is it called?

The standard glass is tinted, and that looks standard to me. Like I said, I think the only windscreen options are standard, standard with gradient band or heat reflective, plus the various auto wiper/light combinations. Yours looks like standard with gradient tint band in that shot, but I'd still check the markings to verify whether it's heat-reflective or not.
