Corel Red is better with TiAg. IMHO.

DO NOT GET CORAL RED. Saddle Brown is much more tasteful. Saddle Brown is for men who like to take it in the Saddle, or so my manlover says: brown as it may come, it is classical. It's the 'Neo Broke Back' theme.. rugged and organic, yet oddly afraid of attracting attention...safe yet decidant, opulent, yet stark. Don't be afraid to represent the mouth-breathing urban professional demographic on this forum who feel most secure in earthtones juxtoposed against red LED informatics.... but to be safe, do poll for options, 'what color should I get?', 'what about CA.. AS... iDrive?' "What if I choose the wrong option?". You will especially loathe oprtions that other forum queries didn't advocate, and 'review' ad nauseum, for the benefit of others, imaginatively, natch. My advice: Black, Saddle Brown, Sport, Premium, and carbon-kindneys.. hell, carbon roundels too.... just cause your're a sporty guy and all.. that's it. Poll for mods, but I'm guessing.. a Dinan "Q#%". Brown is, after all, the new red.

On space grey, coral. I'd pick saddle on pretty much all the other colors except SpaceG and TiAg.

For NA buyers, one has to consider that we don't have the option of selecting the anthracite headliner which would compliment either the coral or the saddle better than the gray headliner that is standard. This is one of the reasons that I went with black because the introduction of a 3rd color into the interior didn't seem attractive to me.

Want safe, go with black or gray. A BMW with red leather is difficult to resale. I experienced this myself with my former Z3 and two E46 coupes. It is not an easy task, unless you plan to keep it forever. BTW, usually after two model years BMW NA discontinues the red leather. In the past it has been a poor seller. I am a big fan of the Saddle Brown. I plan to order a Space Gray with Saddle Brown interior, but I have encountered some resistance from more than one dealership on the combination.

I decided to go with Saddle since it's really a bit more "normal" but still Was a tough one but red would probably really hurt the resale value.

When it comes to resale, I don't think it loses value... While you might not sell it as quickly, these ARE rare configs and it is *possible* that someone might be willing to overpay for it... It is an acquired taste and don't underestimate (not saying you are, specifically) the audience "wild" interiors have. In Miami, Coral Red seems to be a favorite, especially among the White colored cars... Another reason why these colors are "rare" is because dealers tend to stock more neutral colors for the masses and you get a lot of enthusiasts settling for these cars because they don't want to wait...

Its all personal preference. Who cares what anyone else other than yourself thinks! You and only yourself are paying for the car. Bottom line is you can't go wrong b/c its a BMW.
BTW..... I voted for Coral Red since I own it!, lol Rubin |

notice the votes are pretty close ... see saddle in front though ... but a few votes can swing that poll ... makes your choice harder ... but i think the poll is pretty much telling you you cant go wrong with either choice ... i personally found coral too bright for my liking, its not as rich as imola ... and yes saddle is more the elegant choice while coral is in your face sporty ...
