1st Dead F10?

I was driving on a highway today and my car displayed...

Engine malfunction reduced power (It felt like a 50% reduction)
Engine will not restart once turned off

I have an uneasy feeling about this.

Dealer was great they had a loaner f10 waiting for me.

This is one of many reasons why if an F10 diesel arrives here I'm in...and if not I'll stick with my "d".

hope you get it fixed

this is why i never buy first year model cars, or even second. I wait for BMW to fix all the issues and gremlins, and after they do a LCI refresh

It was replaced at the dock. Held up for 2 weeks.

Had a high pressure fuel pump changed on my F10 2011 535xi today. Had a Drivetrain malfunction light & took it in to see what was going on. Car feels fine now. October 2010 delivery. Just a heads up.

This HPFP has been going on for years, it has nothing to do with a new model.
