Hong Kong just raised taxes on cars!
By 15%!
So I have to pay over usd12k more for my coming 550i

Did anyone expect this? complete surprise! pre-tax$ %tax 0-150k 35->40 150-300 65->75 300-500 85->100 500+ 100->115 so the 528 @380k just went from 598k to 632.5k (+34.5k) overall, about <5% increase for cheaper cars, for ferrari etc. ~7% mlai, its not payment date, first reg. date?? aiy ... so unlucky |

yes, I know. Should be registration date.
I only got my car for less than 2 months, that was close.
