335i Spacers?
07 e90 335i:
Looking to do some spacers! After reading a few topics would it be safe to say 12mm in the front and 15mm-18mm in the Rear? I currently have 162 style wheels on. Everything is stock so far. Does anybody have pictures to show or have a link via the forum of their spacers installed? Any recommends or deals with companies? Thanks guys. |

Got my H&R spacers from Turner motorsports and went 12mm in front and 20mm in rear.
15mm in the rear on a e90 still leaves a good gap in the wheel well. 20mm was more flush. |

i have the stock 162's on my car too and ive been running 20mm spacers on the rear for about a month now and i just ordered 15mm for the fronts. im on stock sport suspension right now let me tell you the 20mm spacers look dam good, no more sunkness and pretty dam flush. I will be dropping my car in the next couple of weeks im just unsure of what set up to get. i feel like once i drop it it will sit more flush. ive read a lot of threads with people who bought 15 or 18 saying they could have gone wider.
But here's a thread to further give you an idea.. this guy is dropped on H&R sports too http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ht=15mm+spacer Last edited by WhiteTornado; 03-10-2011 at 12:11 AM.. |

Here are some after shots...
Ended up installing 18mm spacers in the rear only.
Also, looks like I have a piece of plastic under the body hanging.... ugh. |

Hankcah - you are running different types of tires front to rear... and you put the spacers in the rear.. what has this done to your handling? From what I read, this isn't recommended....

Indeed. Im getting new rears soon, so Im not too worried about it. My handling feels even better. Feels more stable and takes corners better. Only problem I have, is that plastic piece from the underbody. Is was scraping when I went home last night so now I have to try to take it off....for the time being.
I notice you have a Dinan rear sway. In your opinion, how hard was the install and how long did it take you? |
