Titanium Silver next to Mineral Silver

Stopped by the local dealer to compare the 2 silvers and took these quick shots. Very overcast and rainy day today, but I have to say the Mineral silver looked much more gold than I was expecting but that's probably because it was wedged in between 2 titanium silver BMW's... I like it.

Sorry if these kind of pics have been posted before, but haven't been on the forum for a while and thought I'd share. I haven't ordered my X3 yet but intend too within the next 6 months, buying a house right now has put that on hold atm.... I really enjoy reading all the feedback from all you who have got yours already.
Cheers

I kinda feel the same. There isn't anything wrong with TS, but there isn't anything great about it. When I see it I think, 'hey that must be a loaner car.'

Booooo! I prefer TS to MS (but then I would say that ). They both can look very different to these pictures depending on the light.

MS different looks green in this picture, which is well, slightly effeminate.

TS looks much better in the sunshine

I was keen for Sapphire Black too but it's more difficult to keep looking at its best and I think TS makes the car look more muscular.

Just my opinion

Thanks for posting the pics. It's great to see side by side like that. I'm also planning to order later in the year (waiting for the MY2012) and have decided on the Mineral Silver with Mojave seats and wave wood trim.

You are not alone. I & my wife prefer TS than MS but we chose Space Gray instead.

1. Click reply/quote then Go Advanced then click Manage Attachments button and you can add up to 10 and click upload.

2. Or, if you have something like flickr or gmail, publish the photos there first, right click on the published photo and choose Copy image URL, then click insert image (advanced reply) and paste.

If you use method 2 you have more flexibility and no limit on number of images (size of attachments)

I've ordered T Silver on an M sport package.

Wife said no to black, white, red, blue, gray!

I may change to space gray to tone down the oversized vents on the front.

Max3

PS. would like to see the Carbon black up close as I've half a mind to be indecisive.

I prefer TS also. It's very crisp, very metallic. Mineral silver has a gold tint to it and is a bit mellow.

Nice to see another person from the Bellevue area Sabian.

It seems the dealership has gotten some new X3s in the past month, the last time I was there they only had a black one and a white one with 500 miles.

I went with MS as it was different and I liked how it changed colour depending on the lighting. People have told me it looks white, gold, and silver. Maybe it comes in handy if you speed by a police car and he misses your plate.

Titanium silver for me too! Being a great color, there is something about the Mineral Silver that screams soccer mom...

But then again, what do you expect me to say?

Cheers!
