White halogens

So, I just saw a black 335 sedan sporting halogens but they were actually as white/blue as HID's. Unless he did HID upgrade and just used his halogen casing. So i was wondering, are there any halogen bulbs that shine that white? I was thinking he put in PIAA extreme whites or whatever that are like 69 bucks, but it seemed kinda blue. I'd say it would compare to the 5000K or 4100K HID bulbs. I wouldve taken pics but I was busy driving. hahah.

EDIT: Found this site... anyone used these? seems kind of sketchy and too good to be true or the camera was overexposed so the light seemed brighter than it should.

was it a coupe or sedan? the E92 bulbs can be swapped but E90 you have a grueling process of choosing either PIAA, LUX, or Brex
LUX 2.0 group buy is 160
PIAA is 170 at bavauto? i think
Brex is i don't know

335 comes equipped with HIDs. Pretend the following diagram depicts a pair of headlights on the E9x equipped with HIDs. A = turn signal, B = HIDs and C = halogen DRL + flash-to-pass high-beam.

If you were talking about the angel eyes (represented by the brackets () ), then +1 to what SpecC said.

[A (B) (C)\ /(C) (B) A]

hey guys, it definitely wasnt angel eyes cause it was a e90 sedan and halogen casings. i wish i had a picture but i really think that the halogen bulb was bright white in the 4100-5000k range with a hint of blue. but im positive positive it was halogen and not xenon. cause the 06-07 xenons have those angel eyes and for sure it werent those.

if you get the xenons, it comes with angel eyes for both E90 and E92
it's just that they have a yellow ring around their bright white xenons.

to do that, you must first open the headlight housing; which has been shown to be next to impossible
