how can I reset the date for rear brake wear indicator

Hi I a 335i I have 50% left of my rear brake pads.
Everytime I start the car it shows the rear brakes and the date 04/2011 and 13000km today I tried to reset it know it still says 04/2011 but changed to 20000km.

How do I reset the date?
I have BT cable but didnt find anything.

Yes that only changed the Km from 13000km to 20000km?
I want the date to come later like end of 2011 or 2012 becuase there is much left on the pads.
