New Wheels/Tires Sizes, what about PSI?

I went from 17x8 w/ 225/45 tires using the recommended 32/35 psi, but now am on

18x8 & 18x8.5 w/ 235/40 and 265/35 tires. How should my tire pressure be set for daily road use?

Also asking because my buddy is going from 16x7 wheels to 18x8 square. Tires grew from 205/45 to 225/40.

Thanks guys!

Normal tires pressures would be the same regardless of tire size.

If you're moving from RFT's to non-RFT's, you will notice slight difference in how car handles due to the more flexible sidewalls of the non-RFT's over the RFT's. To get back most of that feel, you can add 3psi or so above recommended pressures...

Thanks!! I like them but they are too soft. I'm down to the wear bar in about 8k miles.

Hm... should I up the PSI by... say, 2-3 all around? The last thing I want is over or under inflation and uneven wear.

I generally recommend anywhere from about 35-38 PSI depending on weather and driving conditions.

I like 35-36 for the fronts and around 38PSI for the rears.
