Install is maybe a hour tops. Really simple except one clamp that's a PITA.

The car is on the rollers right now. So far only one pull and I've bested my previous numbers by a good bit.

Same, numbers vs. drop in filter would be most beneficial. Personally seeing intake systems that sit on top of an engine that aren't sealed aren't very appealing since it more of a Warm air intake.

I had an AFE drop in dry flow prior. I've taken a break for lunch. As for the whole open element in engine bay debate. My years of testing on numerous FI vehicles in both gas and diesel have never yielded any significant raise in IAT post intercooler and such is the case here. Ambient temperature at speed is rarely changed inside the intake track. The air is moving at nearly 400mph at throttle.

I don't sell intakes but I do have all the cool toys to test them with. Im not here to debate but there is a reason many engineers at all the leading intake companies continue to build product in this fashion.

So here is the breakdown on the gains and when I get back to my computer I'll post up the graph.

Previous Best (JB Stage 1, Drop in, Catback, Stock DP) 322/366 on Mustang 1100. Ambient Air Temp 59 Degrees. Baro reading very similar, Humidity 37.4%

Previous Stock Tune - 281/302

Injen w/ Stock Tune - 291/309 +10rwhp

Injen w/ JB Stage 1 - 343/379 +21rwhp

Conditions were very similar. Same Dyno, etc...

Conclusion: While the improvements over stock are minimal this intake really shines when the car is tuned. A/F ratios were in check through the entire pulls both tuned and stock. I'd like to see how this unit would perform with other tuning but I do not have access to them at this time. A DP would also likely benefit this intake greatly as the stock catted unit is lousy in the flow department.

Damn dude! That's a hell of a sales pitch you just made lol. For 20rwhp on top of a tune, the price becomes a lot more justifiable. Would love to see the difference a DP and IC makes.. Could be looking at ~380rwhp with full boltons!
