An M5! I'm sure I'll miss the 335xi at some point but right now I have a permanent grin
Got a hell of a deal, 2008 M5 Black on black, 40,000km (25,000 miles), extended leather, heads up display and executive package. I know this thread is worthless without pics so here are a few: Last edited by phil_; 04-07-2011 at 07:38 AM.. |

$60,000 Cdn. The market here is a lot different. A brand new 335 with a few options is 60k. Yeah... no engine mods for sure, 500hp is more than enough for me. Cosmetic mods only. |

Very Sweet.
Love the interior. I was thinking of getting one of these at Auction but I've heard that the M5's are hard on gas. If it's no big deal, drive it for a while and report back on what your gas mileage is. I ended up with a 535 instead. |

Thanks for the comments. Gas mileage is horrible, I expected it. Looks like it's about 20L/100km or 11MPG so far. I'm driving it like I stole it though.

I got a brand new set of PS2's. I had a feeling those tires wouldn't cut it. I can barely hold traction in P500 mode. I might just get ride of them. I'll wait for warmer weather and see. |

No idea, I wouldn't dare take it out right now with summers on if there was snow.
I plan to get a set of snow tires for this winter but I doubt I will taking it out very often. I live ontop of a mountain! I'm going to buy a winter beater for sure. |

nice new beast! That car would be great on those long stretch roads in Canada. My friend has one and fun car to drive but bad as a daily driving machine just because if you always drive like you stole it you will need to feed it more often fill that tank up twice a week in the long run it will get quite expensive at min 10 miles per gallon. I drive my 335i like I stole it and I get average 19-21 city mpg here in NYC I get 33 mpg on long trips on the highway driving 75mph cruise control. M5 has more than double gas consumption than a twin turbo 6 . I give you 6-8 months before you get tired spending 400-600 dollars per month on gas. Hopefully this is not your daily driver.
