On factory turbo setup the ETS FMIC kit does not require trimming and is cost effective. Good luck.

I used to have the ETS and now switched to the Helix Rev.3. Both required no trimming.

if you're going to be tracking/running it hard go with the cp e with the oil cooler

otherwise i'd go with the helix (after seeing all of them in person, i think the helix looks like it has the best build quality)

ets is my least favorite. the end tank design is lolwut

inb4 vendors come in and start hawking their wares

good advise there, I have not seen the ETS in person.

cp-e makes VERY good products and you get an oil cooler....cant beat that.

Helix also makes a great LARGE intercooler that really will keep IAT's down.

cant go wrong with either.

Most importantly, get rid of the factory junk intercooler. You'll laugh once its out of the car and in your hands, feels like a toy.

I have the Helix, I don't have a N55 but i love it. Its a great product and Sniz is correct, the stock one is a joke.

Why did you switch from ets to helix? Curious because I am in the market for both.

I have the helix v2 and I needed to trim a little bit of plastic for it to fit, but it's very minimal. I'd definitely go with the helix

there both great. I went with the ETS. I'd contact Micheal from ETS and see if they still have the deal going for their 7" FMIC shipped for $700. Awesome deal if you ask me!
