335i Auto question
Im having a problem with my 335I auto. When im coming to a stop, say (7 to 0 mph) and ease off the brakes I get what can best be described as a thud/slap from the tranny. Its like its been braking the car up to the point of me releasing the footbrake and then releases. Its a noticable thud that makes you move in your seat. Its more so if the engine has been braking prior to stopping.
Any ideas? its been reset at BMW a few months back but made no difference. |

Its done 33k and its been reset 3 times by my local dealer, still no joy. Im hearing a lot about nic neutral idle control, or something like that. Seems like the 5 series had a similar issue?

Same thing happens to me! Whenever i slow down in normal driving, basically just creeping up to the redlight...i hear a "thud" or a stomping sound and i cannot dertermine what it is. My foot is applied on the brake and i hear the noise RIGHT when the car stops.
I just got my software update and whatnot but it started coming from it even before that too. I never did it until recent and im at around 43,000 miles right now... |

mine does it too but it only seems to happen when the car is cold. Been back to the dealer a few times and always comes back the same way. They always say there is nothing wrong too.
